Windows 11 Pro 22H2 Build (No TPM) (x64) Pre-Enabled Multilingual Interface
Windows 11. The main part of this announcement was to be a presentation of a major user interface change, codenamed Sun Valley. As you know, a significant part of the UX changes will be borrowed from the Windows 10X shell, and Windows 10X will not enter the market. Now, as expected, the Windows 11 leak begins.
What’s new in Windows 11:
– Windows 11 gets a brand new design. Microsoft clearly needs a good reason to reverse its previous announcements and still ditch Windows 10 by introducing a new operating system number. And the brand new design is perfect for that. The Redmond giant has been preparing a redesign for an update code-named Sun Valley (“Sun Valley”) for a long time – apparently, Windows 11 was under that name. The Sun Valley project appeared on the network a long time ago – Microsoft regularly revealed details of the new interface style, experts shared previously unknown information, and designers popular in their circles drew realistic concepts based on all this data.
– Launcher and system items float above the bottom bar. Start is the calling card and face of all the latest versions of Windows. It is not surprising that in Windows 11, developers will redo it again, but not so much functionally as visually: the start window will go beyond the bottom bar. We have to admit that this small change makes the system much cooler. Judging by the information on the network, Microsoft will not radically change the “inside” of this menu: innovations concern only the design of the window. The control panel is also floating and its layout is exactly the same as that of the “Home”.
– The action center is aligned with the control buttons together; similar has been used for a long timeon some other operating systems. Almost every mention of this new menu indicates that it will be an island: control buttons are in a separate area, notifications in another, and certain elements (for example, the player) in another.
– Right angles disappear and are replaced by fillets. In fact, experts and designers disagree on this point: some believe that Microsoft will not change its traditions and keep right angles, others are convinced that Microsoft will follow the rounded trend in 2021. The latter better fits the definition of “all new windows”—popup menus alone are not enough to make a new design truly new. Rounding is expected to affect almost the entire system, from context menus and system bars to all application windows. True, the opinions of concept designers on this topic differ: some draw curves on all possible interface elements, others combine them with right angles.
– Everywhere there will be a translucent background with blur. There is controversy on the net about the island style of displaying windows, the design of the corners, and the floating menu effect, but almost everyone agrees, the transparency of windows agrees. The vast majority of design leaks and renderings show transparency and blur in all windows, be it the Start menu or at least File Explorer. In addition, these effects can be found up to the general installation of the discontinued Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed in parallel with the Sun Valley project for dual-screen and low-end gadgets. The so-called acrylic transparency involves the use of new effects when hovering over elements, as well as greater spacing between elements: areas of the user interface with which the user interacts will certainly become larger, and page titles will become bolder.
– The new font is already shown. Windows 11 will most likely use the Responsive Segoe fontUI Variable by default already included in Windows 10 Build 21376 for Insiders. Its advantage is that it is equally suitable for both small texts and large titles. This distinguishes them from standard fonts, which are originally created for small or large font sizes. For example, the stable version of Windows 10 currently uses the 9-pt Segoe UI font. With smaller inscriptions, it becomes illegible, and with large ones it looks inexpressive.
– Windows 11 will have new icons and Windows 95 icons will disappear. Yes, they are still in use today. Microsoft will eventually convert the icons used system-wide. These aren’t just shortcuts to folders, trash cans, and other icons in File Explorer. We’re talking about all the symbols available in the Shell32 directory. Icons from the Windows 95 era still exist, and Microsoft only recently updated their designs in one of their Insider sets; Of course, they will switch to Windows 11.
– In Windows 11 there will be functional innovations: there are many of them, but they are all small. Much less is known about the features of the upcoming update than about its design. But since Windows 11 and Windows 10X (a canceled operating system for thin and foldable devices that was leaked online) were developed in parallel, it can be assumed that all the features of the latter will appear in Windows 11. For example, Windows 11 will indicate when the camera is used on a computer ; The corresponding indicator is displayed on the taskbar.
